This show will feature sets by Prometheus AND Shpongle (Twisted Records UK), as well as Conspirator, which features Marc Brownstein (bass) and Aron Magner (keys) from the Disco Biscuits. The tour will be headlined by Younger Brother LIVE BAND, which is fronted by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughn and their UK vocalist RU and will be backed by Marc Brownstein from the Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo from the Benevento-Russo Duo, and Tommy Hamilton of American Babies and Brothers Past.

This extremely special event will be a trance party for the ages, with some of the most forward thinking musicians from multiple continents getting together to bring the heat to the West Coast!

Eco-Initiatives at Symbiosis Gathering 2007

  • 4-Day Pre-Event Permaculture Course
    With workshops in Alternative Energy, Natural Building, and More.
  • MycoRemediation
    We will use mushroom cultures to soak up oil and chemicals left on the field from parked cars
  • Recycling and Composting
    A comprehensive recycling and composting program will be implemented to minimize landfill-bound waste. Also, no consumable products will be sold by the event with packaging that is not biodegradable or recyclable.
  • Green Vending
    All of the food vendors will feature 100% organic food and beverages, as well as re-usable or biodegradable dishes and cutlery.
  • Dishwashing Station
    Symbiosis plans to implement a dishwashing system for re-using dishes and cutlery from public vending and crew meals.
  • Eco-Art Installations
    Several art installations will be created from recycled and scavenged materials, illustrating themes of creative re-use and aesthetic wonder.
  • Community Education Workshops and speakers on a variety of topics. The Big Tadoo Puppet Crew also addresses issues of sustainability through edu-tainment for audiences of all ages.
  • Green Printing All of the printed materials, from flyers to tickets, are printed on 100% recycled paper, using non-toxic inks, from a wind-powered printer.
  • No Virgin Trees for Toilet Paper
    Symbiosis will provide only 100% recycled toilet paper for the crew and public.
  • Carbon-Neutral Websites
    Symbiosis websites are all 100% carbon neutral, offset with new renewable energy credits.
