This show will feature sets by Prometheus AND Shpongle (Twisted Records UK), as well as Conspirator, which features Marc Brownstein (bass) and Aron Magner (keys) from the Disco Biscuits. The tour will be headlined by Younger Brother LIVE BAND, which is fronted by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughn and their UK vocalist RU and will be backed by Marc Brownstein from the Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo from the Benevento-Russo Duo, and Tommy Hamilton of American Babies and Brothers Past.

This extremely special event will be a trance party for the ages, with some of the most forward thinking musicians from multiple continents getting together to bring the heat to the West Coast!

1st Annual Symbiosis Gathering
30 September - 2 October 2006 . Santa Cruz, CA, USA

Symbiosis Gathering 2005 was the first Symbiosis Event. The core crew was made up of people from a broad assortment of musical tastes and a diverse background of production experience. The event was initially a social experiment of sorts... an attempt to bring together people from many of the different subculture and fringe communities, from trance heads to burners to jam band fans and other assorted crews. Inspiration was found in the massive outdoor gatherings of the global psytrance community, as well as the traveling festival that was the Grateful Dead. Word spread through the underground about the new fusion energy being seeded, and in the end it was the surprise smash of the summer...

Local heroes combined with carefully selected international artists in a Redwood Forest getaway on three stages and at the all-day pool parties. Speakers, workshops, and healing sessions took place throughout the weekend, and the entire place was lavishly decorated and filled with detailed sacred spaces. We sincrely hope everyone had as much fun as we did in the first year of what is now becoming an annual affair of the Harvest Season.
